The Five Minute Organizer Walleteer (http://successbeginstoday.org/fiveminute/) is ” A simple tool for organizing your thoughts, goals and even your life. This simple little device requires no batteries, is totally customizable, and fits neatly in your pocket or purse.”

Here is what we did in order to make a Five Minute Organizer station:

Simple but amazingly useful. Mini binder clips, 2.5 X 4 in. cork board, gorilla glue, and a CD case.

Every other week we’ll bring you a post on a method, idea, or item we use, this week it is “Organization of the graphic design process ( or at least how we do it )”

1.We sum up the purpose of the graphic in four words or less, (the graphic mantra) for this example it is “data transfer”.

2. Now we think of an icon to go along with those words (A helpful resource is “logopond.com” for inspiration). If no icon can be found we make the logo out of the company’s name. (For this example the icons that are used are hard drives and computer towers)

3.  Now its time to go over to the white board ( or notepad ) and roughly put down some concepts.

4. Then we boot photoshop or another graphic application (like gimp) with a new canvas thats at least over 800*600 pixels. Then we go with one or more of the best concepts.

5. Once done it has to pass the test of looking good on both white & black backgrounds.

6. The last step is to make sure the client likes it as well.

Second life and virtual worlds (vw) in general have been getting tons of PR in the past few months, as “the future of the web”. It is not the future (nor the whole hype in 90’s), its not the next step because VW (virtual worlds) are already in. Moving business in to SL (secondlife) is not taking the next-step it is keeping up with the web. VWs are the improved interaction between the business and clients, customers, & users, its not so much as the novelty that so many treat it as, that might become big in a few years.

As you know R.C Cosmos is going with the flow of the web and is using secondlife.

The virtual building we have is on Kula 4.

There one can browse our website on a 2-D or 3-D cube, just as if one were using a normal web browser.

Also one can request a free graphic design smooth and easy. Just type your name, email, about organization, what you need, and such. 

Your either are in with the web or you are just out and using ancient clichés.
